Providing Inspections for Williamsport, State College, Bellefonte, Lock Haven, Muncy, Lewisburg, Sayre, Mansfield, Wellsboro, Towanda and Surrounding Areas

In addition to general residential and commercial property inspections, NPI offers a suite of services that can be tailored to your specific needs. Below, you will find a list of each additional service offered by your local NPI West Branch Valley team.

Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive gas and the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US, according to the Surgeon General. Radon can enter your home through cracks in the foundation, and because it’s odorless and colorless, the only way to detect it is with a professional inspection. If your NPI inspector finds radon in your home, a radon mitigation system can be installed to keep your family safe. Click here to learn more about radon testing from NPI West Branch Valley.

Wood-destroying organisms (WDOs) can cause catastrophic damage to your home’s structure if left untreated. Your NPI inspector can identify the presence of termites, carpenter ants, wood-boring beetles and more before they cause irreversible damage.

If you’re buying or selling a property that draws its water from a private well, National Property Inspections can perform water testing. Your NPI inspector will collect water samples and send them to an approved laboratory for testing. Well water is tested for Coliform bacteria, particulates, mineral content and even radon to determine its safety to drink.

Your inspector can perform a non-invasive septic dye test to determine the condition of your septic system. With a septic dye test, we pour a fluorescent dye into your home’s drains and run water at a pre-determined flow rate to check for potential leakage of your septic system. The dye test is used to determine whether the system is adequate to handle the volume of waste being put through it.

Unlike larger homes constructed with standard building techniques, mobile and manufactured homes have their own unique considerations that need to be addressed during an inspection. Our inspectors can certify that manufactured home foundations are compliant to HUD/FHA, VA, and Conventional Lending requirements and standards. Your NPI inspector can provide many different types of field services, including occupancy status inspections, property assessment and condition reports, insurance risk assessment inspections, REO foreclosures and more. Any of these services can be tailored to your specific needs.
