Whether you're buying or selling a property, a professional inspection provides peace of mind as you make purchasing decisions.
Important! The State of Florida does not have any inspector certification (licensing), and will not until 2010. So don't be fooled by claims of someone being a licensed home inspector. However, do look for an ASHI Certified Inspector. ASHI is The American Society of Home Inspectors. The only way to be certain of getting an experienced professional is by hiring an ASHI certified inspector. Don't be fooled by someone claiming to do inspections that "meet or exceed ASHI Standards," if they are not a Certified ASHI inspector. It can't be done!
Did you know? According to a recent study by the American Society of Home Inspectors and the National Association of Realtors, 8 out of 10 homebuyers order a home inspection as part of contract negotiations.
